One empty space is enough to reorganise the whole board. Every move preserves the solvability of the game.
Only tiles orthogonally adjacent to the empty space can slide.
The goal is to form 1–4, 5–8, 9–12 and 13–15, with the empty space last.
Before placing a tile, prepare a route that lets the empty space move around it without undoing too much work.
Undo, redo, restart the same shuffle or start a new position. With a keyboard, the arrow keys move the empty space.
